Ticket to Ride Around the Country

This game is one of my favorites. Ticket to Ride is a strategy type of game, but there is a bit of luck depending on what cards you get. It includes routes around the country, cards, and different colored trains. It also includes the board which has some of the big cities.

There are numbers around the edge of the game board. This game takes around 25 – 35 minutes to complete. This game is harder for younger kids. I would recommend it for 7 + in age. You get points for putting trains down, getting the longest route at the end and for completing routes. But if you do not complete you subtract how many points that route was worth. The numbers around the edge are to keep track of how many points you get.

One train = one point, two trains = two points, three trains = four points, four trains = seven points, five trains = ten points, and six trains = fifth teen points. Every route card has a number on it. If you complete that route you get that many points. If you have the longest route that connects, you get ten points in the end. So it. Is basically bonus points. I hope you can come look at my next post soon, bye!
